This notice explains how your personal data is handled when you visit samet-teacher.com ("the Site"). It also serves as the disclosure notice required under Turkey's Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK, Law No. 6698), since the Site is operated from Turkey. Data controller: Samet Emin Akarçay ("Samet Teacher").

No forms, limited data collection

This Site presents lesson packages, contact information, and English learning guides and city pages (in Turkish). It does not:

• contain any form (no field for name, phone, or email),

It does, however:

• run Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure visits; these tools use cookies and collect data such as browser/device information, pages viewed, and whether you clicked a WhatsApp/phone button (see "Third-party resources" below),
• run the "see your plan in 30 seconds" quiz entirely in your browser — the answers are never sent to or stored on a server, and are only used to prefill the WhatsApp message.

Contact via WhatsApp

The "Free intro call" and package buttons on the Site open WhatsApp directly. From that point, your conversation happens on WhatsApp's (Meta's) own infrastructure and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy; the Site itself never accesses or stores that conversation.

When you contact Samet Teacher on WhatsApp (e.g. to request an intro call or ask about a package), information you share — such as name, phone number, or the student's grade/level — is processed to schedule lessons, maintain contact, and provide the requested service, on the legal grounds of performance of a contract and legitimate interest, in line with KVKK Article 5.

Underage students

Some students are school-age minors. In that case, contact and the lesson process are handled, as far as possible, through the parent/guardian, who is considered informed about the use of the student's information for lesson purposes.

Hosting and technical logs

The Site is hosted on Hostinger's infrastructure. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser information, access time) on its own systems to keep the service secure and running. These logs are not separately processed or shared by Samet Teacher.

Third-party resources

Fonts are served from the Site's own server; no request is sent to any third party for this purpose.

The Site uses Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Pixel to measure visits and evaluate advertising performance. These tools place cookies in your browser and collect data such as which pages you view, how long you stay, whether you click a "Free intro call" or "Choose this package" WhatsApp/phone button, approximate location (via IP), and browser/device information, which is sent to Google LLC and Meta Platforms Inc. respectively. This processing relies on the data controller's legitimate interest (measuring site performance and ad effectiveness) under KVKK Article 5. The data collected is not directly linked to your name or phone number; contact details you share over WhatsApp are never passed to these tools.

You can opt out of these cookies via your browser's cookie settings, Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or your Meta ad preferences. Other than that, the Site does not transmit data to any third-party service.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, learn its purpose, know third parties it is shared with, request correction or deletion, and object to certain processing. Changes

This notice may be updated if how the Site operates changes. The current version always appears on this page.
